President’s Message
Dear CITAP+ Members,
CITAP+ has been very active this spring with site inspections, website improvements, and preparations for our upcoming events, including the Hidi Nishi Summer Event on July 15, the Eastern Canada Market Update in conjunction with the OMCA Golf Tournament on August 18, and the Winter Function on December 01.
As a Not-for-Profit Organization (NPO) solely relying on revenue from our membership and event fees, I want to thank everyone for the continued success of CITAP+, especially our Board of Directors and Committee Members. Their voluntary service, knowledge, and skills continue to be an important asset to the organization and industry at large.
I want to sincerely thank our Executive Director, Andy Shimizu, and our Operations & Communications Generalist, Shan Tseng, for being “forward-thinking” and revamping our procedures. They have both been very instrumental in the execution of all our programs.
I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and growing the CITAP+ community with new and returning members!

RTO Market Updates
This issue features market updates from our Receptive Tour Operator members covering Australia, France, Germany, Japan, the UK, Southeast Asia & Taiwan. Upcoming FAM
CITAP+ has partnered with the OMCA Golf Tournament on August 18 with an education session followed by FAM activities. The education session will consist of market updates and an information session about CITAP+ and is anticipated to take place on the morning of the golf tournament. The FAM will take us around Niagara Falls and Kingston, providing a plethora of opportunities to experience regional tourism products.

CITAP+ is still accepting prize donations for the day. To help us plan ahead, please contact info@citap.ca with your prize, its approximate value, and if you are raffling to RTOs only or all in attendance.

2026 CITAP+ Membership – Renew Now!
The CITAP+ team kindly reminds all who have yet to renew their membership to please renew by logging in to your CITAP+ account or contacting us at info@citap.ca.
To renew your membership, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to your account on our website: https://citap.ca
- In your account dashboard, locate “Memberships”, indicated by a crown on the left side menu OR click the renewal notice on the top orange notification bar.
- Locate your membership plan for CITAP+ and click “Renew Now”
- Proceed to complete payment as prompted.
- If you need further clarification, please consult Glue Up’s step-by-step guide on renewals, or contact the CITAP+ office at info@citap.ca.
