About CITAP
Canadian Inbound Tourism Association Plus (CITAP+)
At CITAP+, we work to improve the business environment for RTOs and their partners specializing in inbound tourism.
We advocate for changes in the application of regulations and policy by government and government agencies, with a view towards ensuring:
- fair and equitable treatment of all market participants, including much valued overseas clients;
- improved safety and security in travel;
- respectful and sustainable practises to support long-term growth of the industry.
We openly engage stakeholders and establish partnerships to support these core objectives, without prejudice and in a spirit of good faith. We support initiatives in the interest of inbound business to improve Canadian tour and travel operations. We believe that a robust and varied tour & travel economy in Canada fosters global prospects for inbound tourism in the long run.
