Christie has been a member of the sales team at Prestige Hotels for six years, where she has managed travel trade sales for 19 locations across British Columbia for the past four years. With over fifteen years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing management, Christie has held various roles with hotels, Travel Alberta and Edmonton Tourism.

During her tenure at Edmonton Tourism, Christie served on volunteer boards as the President of Team Canada Tourism and as an advisor on the Canadian Task Force for NTA. A notable highlight of her career was co-chairing the Rendez-Vous host committee in Edmonton in 2012.
